Tiger Woods beat Rocco Mediate in a playoff on Monday to win the 108th US Open golf championship.
Woods won at the first hole of sudden-death, after both players carded even-par 71 over the scheduled 18-hole playoff.
Woods captured his third US Open title and the 14th major championship of his career.
