ATP player Lleyton Hewitt and his wife Bec are hosting a month-long fundraising auction during November on website eSwap.com.au with proceeds going to Cure Our Kids, which supports children with cancer and their families.

With just a week left to go, items from two of the game’s greatest players are now available and the high bidding is already underway. Fans can get their hands on an exclusive framed and signed Roger Federer custom Nike tennis shirt and one of the racquets that Rafael Nadal used during his victorious Wimbledon campaign – also signed and framed.

Hewitt has donated a signed left foot Nike tennis shoe that is the same as he wore during his run to the 2005 Australian Open final, while fans are also able to bid on two tickets to the 2009 Wimbledon men’s singles final – flights included.

Hewitt said: “Both Bec and I have been overwhelmed by the generosity shown by many of our friends both here and on the world stage. Rafael Nadal has donated the racquet he used to win the 2008 Wimbledon final, while Roger Federer gave us the shirt off his own back!”

Hewitt embarked on a five-day media appearance tour throughout Australia during the last week in October, taking in stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth.

Items that have been auctioned during November include personal items donated by Bec and Lleyton Hewitt along with items from Ana Ivanovic, William Shatner, Russell Crowe, Toni Collette, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Gwen Stefani, Rudy Guilliani, Miranda Otto, Hugh Jackman and a host of other global and local stars.

Cure Our Kids is dedicated to improving the quality of life of kids with cancer and their families. The charity works hard to put a smile on the faces of children who are courageously facing their battle with cancer, while giving their families the support they need to cope.
